Valley with two goals in three second half minutes not long after the hour mark sealed a comeback victory in the Cray Classico. There was just 19 seconds on the clock when the Wands took the lead, a clearance from outside in their own penalty area was hooked on into the patch of Lateef Adaja who raced away and calmly side footed the ball past Max Ovenden in the Valley goal.

Thereafter Valley enjoyed more possession in the first half but chances were few and far between, Fumnaya Shomotun with a shot back across goal off target and a Tom Beere effort from 20 yards which the keeper got behind were probably the pick of the bunch. There was some good passing in the build up from Valley but the Wands defended well, often with all their men behind the ball to good effect.

Second half and Valley looked the better side, Barney Williams forced keeper Shaun Rowley into a good save and the key moments follow shortly after. On 65 minutes a ball into the middle was headed away into the path of Sonny Black whose shot from just inside the box took a deflection on it's way into the back of the net for the equaliser. Three minutes later and Valley were ahead, a good team goal, Clement Asiedu through pass from out wide on the left put Beere through the centre, he squared to Shomotun who unselfishly passed back to Beere to side foot into an empty net, see below.

Valley saw the game out, Beere going close to adding another with a well executed overhead kick just going wide and at the other end Ovenden made a couple of routine saves getting down behind the ball.
