The Millers exited the Kent Senior Cup despite a spirited performance at the Crabble with midfielder Tom Beere donning the yellow keeper shirt after Oliver Pain was forced to leave the field following the opening goal on 20 minutes. Pain suffered slight concussion after being knocked to the ground as he attempted to catch the cross, Jeremiah Gyebi's header giving the Whites the lead.

Julien Anau equalised for the Millers on 34 minutes prodding home Andre Coker's low cross. A converted penalty shortly after the interval restored the Whites lead. Thereafter it was mainly the Millers with the threat on goal, Adam Coombes, captain for the night, going close on several occasions, hitting the bar, forcing keeper Claudio Boakye-Sarfo to make a good save and another couple of efforts missing the target. Anau also went close after an amazing dribble through the middle, going past and shrugging off the defenders before pulling his shot just wide of the post.

The Milles defended well to protect Beere who was rarely called into action. However from a breakaway in the closing minutes, Whites top scorer George Nikaj, found himself through one on one and calmly slotted past Beere to wrap up the win.
