The Millers kick off their pre-season with a first ever meeting and visit to Epsom & Ewell FC who this season will ground share with Cobham FC. It boasts a 3G pitch.

Our Opponents
Epsom and Ewell nicknamed 'The Salts" were founded in 1918. Last season whilst ground sharing at Corinthian-Casuals they finished 15th in the Combined Counties League Premier South Division (step 5). The division eventually saw Whyteleafe and Jersey Bulls promoted. The Salts enjoyed local cup success winning the Southern Combination Challenge Cup for only the second time in their history, having previously lifted the trophy in 1979/80. They contested last seasons final on 22nd April beating Abbey Rangers 1-0 at King George's Field in front of a crowd of 380.

Epsom & Ewell started their pre-season campaign on Friday evening beating Richmond and Kew 5-1. Their X feed confirms last seasons top goalscorer Carl Oblitey has been retained for the up coming season.

The Millers
As we know the first couple of friendlies is about fitness and getting minutes in the legs. It will though be a first chance to see the new signings and in all likelihood there will be a couple of trialists on show as Steve McKimm looks to finalise his squad ahead of the new season.
